Joule Cyclone Range of Un-Vented & Vented Stainless Steel Cylinders
Our stainless steel range was the first to be manufactured
from Duplex stainless steel that established new standards for quality,
performance and life expectancy. All our stainless steel range is
made from the very latest high specification grade of Duplex stainless steel,
to resist all forms of corrosion, including crevice and stress, whilst its high
mechanical strength gives it fantastic durability. The very latest automated
welding procedures along with full post weld treatments guarantee welds that are
as strong as the parent metal. Stainless un-vented is pressure tested in the
factory to a full 12 bar which is four times the normal working pressure.
All of our stainless steel cylinder's are butt welded on the seams, top, bottom and fittings. This means that all metal joints are welded side by side and not overlapped. This may seem like a small advantage but in the world of metal and water this is a massive difference. It is quicker and cheaper to simply overlap the stainless steel
Our stainless steel cylinders are the most environmentally friendly range of cylinders on the market with industry leading 50mm HCFC free insulation, exceptionally low standing heat loss and in anticipation of EUP regulations insulation incorporates Polyol which is derived from Rapeseed oil - a fully renewable resource, with an industry leading Global Warming Potential of 0.7 with a stainless steel internal shell, the product is fully recyclable at the end of its working life. sheets and weld the overlap. The Joule Cyclone is the only leading brand of cylinder available that employs this manufacturing process. To butt weld 1mm stainless steel takes alot of time and percision. The materials must first be spot welded to hold them in place before a robotic welder finishes the process by welding along the joint. Alternatively inferior cylinders are simply manufactured by overlapping the two joints and welding the overlap leaving massive area for crevis corrosion to take place. By eliminating crevis corrosion the cylinder will last longer in tough water conditions and extend its life span.
We realise that every hot press and cylinder location is different that’s why we offer the largest range of sizes and configurations of cylinder dimensions. Our slimiest range has an outer diameter of 440mm and our fattest range of cylinders have a diameter of 660mm. So if you’re looking for a tall slim unit or a small fat unit we are sure to have a solution for you. We also keep a full range of horizontal units for installations in attic conversions.
